Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The novels chronicle the lives of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry’s struggle against Lord Voldemort, a dark wizard who intends to become immortal, overthrow the wizard governing body known as the Ministry of Magic and subjugate all wizards and Muggles (non-magical people).

Since the release of the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, on 26 June 1997, the books have found immense popularity, critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. They have attracted a wide adult audience as well as younger readers and are often considered cornerstones of modern young adult literature. As of February 2018, the books have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide, making them the best-selling book series in history, and have been translated into eighty languages. The last four books consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history, with the final instalment selling roughly eleven million copies in the United States within twenty-four hours of its release.

The series was originally published in English by two major publishers, Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom and Scholastic Press in the United States. A play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, based on a story co-written by Rowling, premiered in London on 30 July 2016 at the Palace Theatre, and its script was published by Little, Brown. The original seven books were adapted into an eight-part namesake film series by Warner Bros. Pictures, which is the third highest-grossing film series of all time as of February 2018. In 2016, the total value of the Harry Potter franchise was estimated at $31 billion, making Harry Potter one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time.

A series of many genres, including fantasy, drama, coming of age, and the British school story (which includes elements of mystery, thriller, adventure, horror, and romance), the world of Harry Potter explores numerous themes and includes many cultural meanings and references. According to Rowling, the main theme is death. Other major themes in the series include prejudice, corruption, and madness.

The success of the books and films has allowed the Harry Potter franchise to expand with numerous derivative works, a travelling exhibition that premiered in Chicago in 2009, a studio tour in London that opened in 2012, a digital platform on which J.K. Rowling updates the series with new information and insight, and a pentalogy of spin-off films premiering in November 2016 with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, among many other developments. Most recently, themed attractions, collectively known as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, have been built at several Universal Parks & Resorts amusement parks around the world.

Gucci

Gucci (/ˈɡuːtʃi/, GOO-chee; Italian pronunciation: [ˈɡuttʃi]) is an Italian luxury brand of fashion and leather goods. Gucci was founded by Guccio Gucci in Florence, Tuscany, in 1921. Gucci generated about €4.2 billion in revenue worldwide in 2008 according to BusinessWeek and climbed to 41st position in the magazine’s annual 2009 “Top Global 100 Brands” chart created by Interbrand; it retained that rank in Interbrand’s 2014 index. Gucci is also the highest-selling Italian brand.

Gucci operates about 278 directly operated stores worldwide as of September 2009, and it wholesales its products through franchisees and upscale department stores. In the year 2013, the brand was valued at US$12.1 billion, with sales of US$4.7 billion. In the Forbes World’s Most Valuable Brands list, Gucci is ranked the 38th most valuable brand, with a brand value of $12.4 billion as of May 2015. As of January 2015, the creative director is Alessandro Michele.

History

With beginnings at the end of the 19th century, the Gucci company became one of the world’s most successful manufacturers of high-end leather goods, clothing, and other fashion products. As an immigrant hotel worker in Paris and later London, young Guccio Gucci (1881–1953) was impressed with the luxurious luggage he saw urbane guests bring with them at the Savoy Hotel. Before leaving, he visited the manufacturer, H.J. Cave & Sons. Upon returning to his birthplace of Florence, a city distinguished for high-quality materials and skilled artisans, he established a shop in 1920 that sold fine leather goods with classic styling. Although Gucci organized his workrooms for industrial methods of production, he maintained traditional aspects of fabrication. Initially, Gucci employed skilled workers in basic Florentine leather crafts, attentive to finishing. With expansion, machine stitching was a production method that supported construction.

Together with three of his sons, Aldo Gucci (1905–1990), Vasco Gucci (1907–1975), and Rodolfo Gucci (1912–1983), Gucci expanded the company to include stores in Milan and Rome as well as additional shops in Florence. Gucci’s stores featured such finely crafted leather accessories as handbags, shoes, and his iconic ornamented loafer as well as silks and knitwear in a signature pattern.

The company made handbags of cotton canvas rather than leather during World War II as a result of material shortages. The canvas, however, was distinguished by a signature double-G symbol combined with prominent red and green bands. After the war, the Gucci crest, which showed a shield and armored knight surrounded by a ribbon inscribed with the family name, became synonymous with the city of Florence.

Aldo and Rodolfo Gucci further expanded the company’s horizons in 1953 by establishing offices in New York City. Film stars and jet-set travelers to Italy during the 1950s and 1960s brought their glamour to Florence, turning Gucci’s merchandise into international status symbols. Movie stars posed in Gucci’s clothing, accessories, and footwear for lifestyle magazines around the world, contributing to the company’s growing reputation.

Gucci’s distinctive lines made its products among the most frequently copied in the world in the early 2000s. Pigskin, calf, and imported exotic animal skins were subjected to various methods of fabrication. Waterproof canvas and satin were used for evening bags. Bamboo was first used to make handbag handles by a process of heating and molding in 1947, and purses made with a shoulder strap and snaffle-bit decoration were introduced in 1960. In 1964 Gucci’s lush butterfly pattern was custom-created for silk foulards, followed by equally luxuriant floral patterns. The original Gucci loafer was updated by a distinctive snaffle-bit ornament in 1966, while the “Rolls-Royce” luggage set was introduced in 1970. Watches, jewelry, ties, and eyewear were then added to the company’s product lines. A particularly iconic touch, introduced in 1964, was the use of the double-G logo for belt buckles and other accessory decorations.

The company prospered through the 1970s, but the 1980s were marked by internal family disputes that brought Gucci to the brink of disaster. Rodolfo’s son Maurizio Gucci took over the company’s direction after his father’s death in 1983 and dismissed his uncle Aldo—who eventually served a prison term for tax evasion. Maurizio proved to be an unsuccessful president; he was compelled to sell the family-owned company to Investcorp, a Bahrain-based company, in 1988. Maurizio disposed of his remaining stock in 1993. Maurizio was murdered by a hitman in Milan in 1995, and his former wife, Patrizia Reggiani, was convicted of hiring his killer. Meanwhile, the new investors promoted the American-educated Domenico De Sole from the position of family attorney to president of Gucci America in 1994 and chief executive in 1995.

The company had previously brought in Dawn Mello in 1989 as editor and ready-to-wear designer in order to reestablish its reputation. Well aware of Gucci’s tarnished image and the value of its name brand, Mello hired Tom Ford in 1990 to design a ready-to-wear line. He was promoted to the position of creative director in 1994. Before Mello returned to her post as president of the American retailer Bergdorf Goodman, she initiated the return of Gucci’s headquarters from the business center of Milan to Florence, where its craft traditions were rooted. There she and Ford reduced the number of Gucci products from 20,000 to 5,000.

Steinunn Sigurdardóttir was the Director and Senior Designer for Gucci from 1995 to 2000.

There were seventy-six Gucci stores around the world in 1997, along with numerous licensing agreements. Ford was instrumental in the process of decision-making with De Sole when the Gucci Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, Bottega Veneta, Boucheron, Sergio Rossi, and, in part-ownership with Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga. By 2001 Ford and De Sole shared the responsibility for major business decisions, while Ford concurrently directed design at Yves Saint Laurent as well as at Gucci.

The French conglomerate Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, however, gained ownership of 60 percent of the Gucci Group’s stock in 2003. Women’s Wear Daily then announced the departure of both Domenico De Sole and Tom Ford from the Gucci Group when their contracts expired in April 2004. The last spring collection under the direction of Ford and De Sole was a critical and commercial success. Amid widespread speculation in the fashion press about Ford’s heir, the company announced in March 2004 that he would be replaced by a team of younger designers promoted from the ranks of the company’s staff.

In 2005, Frida Giannini was appointed as the creative director for women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, previously joining Gucci in 2002. In 2006, she also became the creative director for men’s ready-to-wear and the entire Gucci label.

As announced in December 12, 2014, Creative Director Frida Giannini and CEO Patrizio di Marco were to step down from Gucci. Marco Bizzarri was appointed CEO of the brand.

In 2017, Bizzarri said, “Being socially responsible is one of Gucci’s core values, and we will continue to strive to do better for the environment and animals,” and therefore fur would be banned from Gucci collections as of 2018. In August 2018, Gucci launched online operations in New Zealand.

After being appointed Gucci’s creative director in 2015, Michele reintroduced the company’s double-G Marmont logo.

FPS Game

First-person shooter (FPS) is a video game genre centered around gun and other weapon-based combat in a first-person perspective; that is, the player experiences the action through the eyes of the protagonist. The genre shares common traits with other shooter games, which in turn makes it fall under the heading action game. Since the genre’s inception, advanced 3D and pseudo-3D graphics have challenged hardware development, and multiplayer gaming has been integral.

The first-person shooter genre has been traced as far back as Maze War, development of which began in 1973, and 1974’s Spasim. Later, and after more playful titles like MIDI Maze in 1987, the genre coalesced into a more violent form with 1992’s Wolfenstein 3D, which has been credited with creating the genre’s basic archetype upon which subsequent titles were based. One such title, and the progenitor of the genre’s wider mainstream acceptance and popularity was Doom, one of the most influential games in this genre; for some years, the term Doom clone was used to designate this genre due to Doom’s influence. Corridor shooter was another common name for the genre in its early years, since processing limitations of the era’s hardware meant that most of the action in the games had to take place in enclosed areas.

1998’s Half-Life—along with its 2004 sequel Half-Life 2—enhanced the narrative and puzzle elements. In 1999, the Half-Life mod Counter-Strike was released and, together with Doom, is perhaps one of the most influential first-person shooters. GoldenEye 007, released in 1997, was a landmark first-person shooter for home consoles, while the Halo series heightened the console’s commercial and critical appeal as a platform for first-person shooter titles. In the 21st century, the first-person shooter is the most commercially viable video game genre, and in 2016, shooters accounted for over 27% of all video game sales. Several first-person shooters have been popular games for eSports and competitive gaming competitions as well.

Fortnite Season 9

Fortnite is a Battle Royale game released by Epic Games in 2017. In this game, 100 people jump on a certain map with a parachute from a plane. After jumping, you have a very simple and clear mission. Live or die! If you want to die early, you can make it in a stupid way quickly. Try to walk over an armed enemy without having a gun, and see what’s going to happen. Congratulations, you are dead! Welcome to jungle. However, if you want to live, let me give you some clue. There are basic things you need to do to survive. First of all, when you jump on the map, try to find some equipment for yourself, and of course, try to get a weapon as soon as possible. Plus, you can take advantage of nature and other materials around you, and this is one of the most important features that distinguish this game from the other Battle Royale games.

You begin the game with a weapon made from steel in your hand, and you can collect various kinds of loots by using this weapon. For example, try to collect wood by cutting trees and collect the mechanical parts inside cars by breaking down them. These parts will give you an advantage when you are in conflict with your enemy. You can prevent damage from bullets by planting a building in front of your enemy, reduce their lives by setting up traps, or you can escape from them by building a ladder to yourself. In addition, you can capture the loots of enemies that you have killed.

Team Game

Fortnite allows you to play as double and quadruple teams, as well. It is really hard to dealt with your enemies by yourself .But imagine that you have a team, I am sure, it is going to be easier to deal with your enemies and you will see how the game becomes more fun. Playing as a team requires a harmony. It seems you have more chances to stay alive, when are crowded as number. However, if you do not have a strategy, get ready to die again as a team.

First of all, use your microphone to communicate with your team. Then, determine a strategic point to jump on the map. Stick together, and try to get loots very quickly in the buildings. And then, rush! The game processes with this logic, basically. However, you do not have to rush always to stay alive. Ambushing is an alternative and smart way for a team. The roofs are very suitable to ambush. I am sure; you will have fun with your friends in Fortnite after a very boring and tiring work day.

Save the World

The storm came without warning. A strange and powerful evil stalked. %98 of the population vanished in an instant. The end of the world were about to come. Your fight begins. ‘Save the World’ is the story mode of Fortnite. Imagine that the world is full of zombies by an evil. You suddenly find yourself in a building and, the robots talk to you. Their mission was to prevent the storm but they could not make it. Now, your mission is to help a commander named Ramirez to save the survivors from the storm.

Defeat the evil! This is the matter in the story mode. You find yourself in an absorbing atmosphere from the very beginning. You should let yourself in this environment. You won’t even understand how the time will pass because the whole multiplayer game dynamics and diversity are based on the story mode. (Weapons, map, nature, materials etc) You do not want to miss what a great job they do with low graphics.

Final Bullet

Fortnite has reached a large number of players in a short time and achieved great success by hosting 40 million total and 3.4 million simultaneous players. One of the main reasons for this is of course the free play of the game’s BR (Battle Royale) mode. Indeed, free to play and easy to learn, difficult to master the structure creates addiction.

One of the things you must escape in the game the storm because it is a constant threat that will cause you to enter your secure place. Besides, it is really important to have your own building to be successful in the game. Fortnite, in essence, is a war game. So, those who have some experience in this area can play it much more comfortable.

You also need to learn how to make head shots because it will naturally give your enemies more damage during the game. You can really have fun in BR mode with your friends. Story mode allows you to have a different and enjoyable experience. All staff worth to allow time in the game with low graphic, shortly. You won’t regret to try it, if you love survival games.

Forest And Jungle

A forest is a large area dominated by trees. Hundreds of more precise definitions of forest are used throughout the world, incorporating factors such as tree density, tree height, land use, legal standing and ecological function. According to the widely used Food and Agriculture Organization definition, forests covered 4 billion hectares (9.9×109 acres) (15 million square miles) or approximately 30 percent of the world’s land area in 2006.

Forests are the dominant terrestrial ecosystem of Earth, and are distributed around the globe. Forests account for 75% of the gross primary production of the Earth’s biosphere, and contain 80% of the Earth’s plant biomass. Net primary production is estimated at 21.9 gigatonnes carbon per year for tropical forests, 8.1 for temperate forests, and 2.6 for boreal forests.

Forests at different latitudes and elevations form distinctly different ecozones: boreal forests around the poles, tropical forests around the Equator, and temperate forests at the middle latitudes. Higher elevation areas tend to support forests similar to those at higher latitudes, and amount of precipitation also affects forest composition.

Human society and forests influence each other in both positive and negative ways. Forests provide ecosystem services to humans and serve as tourist attractions. Forests can also affect people’s health. Human activities, including harvesting forest resources, can negatively affect forest ecosystems.

For Honor

I’m here with the For Honor review. What kind of game is For Honor developed by Ubisoft and promising a completely different gaming experience? For Honor We have prepared a detailed review for you based on our PC and console experience.

For Honor, Ubisoft was one of the most interesting new IPs it has offered to us in recent years. He supported classical MOBA and action with sword shield games. Our excitement has been endured since the first images published. After Alpha and 3 different beta processes, finally on February 14 For Honor was launched.

The servers were in poor condition at For Honor beta. Of course, the fear of all of us in such a situation, the game will come out with server problems. Are you still having problems? Yes, but there are always problems in a new game. You may experience server problems approximately in 3 out of 20 games. For Honor uses players as a server. Therefore, the links are transferred over the players. If the game detects that your connection is weak, you are instantly removed. So a good connection is necessary to play the game properly. You can also see the red logo as NAT type on some PCs. In Ubisoft’s games, you usually need to make your NAT types clear. You can find the guides on Ubisoft’s official site.

GAMEPLAY

For Honor throws you into a bustling atmosphere with your download. If you browse the For Honor gameplay videos, the process of starting the game will be much more comfortable. In the How to Play videos, all the abilities of the heroes are explained in detail to you.

For Honor, a host of two main game genres. Scenario mode and multi-player mode. The main focus is the multi-player mode, but it has a scenario mode. But if I want to explain this scenario mode to you in the best way, I think I can give you the last three main games of Battlefield. I think we can say that your only purpose in playing the scenario modes of these games is to prepare for the multiplayer mode, which is the main focus of the game. This is the case in For Honor. Okay, there’s a scenario mode. But this mode is only a makeshift mode created for you to experiment with the three characters in the game and the main characters in it. My advice is that if you play the first few episodes and the game is fully warmed up, you won’t lose any more time and enter the multiplayer mode. Because really, the script has nothing to do with it. Then you finish it. Oh, if you say you have no use, there is. When you complete the tasks in the scenario mode, you can earn various icons and character points. However, instead of wasting time with them, you will have more reason to win real equipment prizes in multiplayer mode.

Since I mentioned the scenario mode of For Honor, I think I can talk about the main focus of the game, the multiplayer mode and the sub-modes it contains. First of all, I must say that For Honor’s character traits are more of a game that is shaped by your own skills. Just like in other competitive games. The better you play in For Honor, the better you ‘study’ your character and how well you learn the map mechanics, the greater the pleasure you will get from the game. Because the people you meet in matches will come according to your ability level. You will understand what I mean when I see the difference between the people who first come along and the people who come later.

Knights, Samurais’ and Vikings

For Honor, there are three races that you can choose for ‘for now’. Now, I’m just saying because I’m hoping Ubisoft will expand this race range later. If I touch on the theme, the reason why the three races are fighting is generally the inefficiency in the land. Water scarcity, inefficiency for crops of soils and hence hunger. So in fact it has a realistic and simple theme. All three races have four characters. Each character has its own advantages and disadvantages. Shugoki, which is on the Samurai side, is able to give a direct attack against the attacks as soon as he misses an attack because he moves too hard and can die within a short time. Likewise, the Berserker character on the Vikings side is fast, deadly, but is vulnerable to attacks, so he can easily die in a few harsh attacks from Shugoki. It is very important that you determine your character and style of play.

You need to reach separate levels for each character. Both have a level of your own account and a level of these characters. As your characters are leveled, their abilities and passive characteristics change and evolve. For example, the Kensei character you’re playing with most is now at level 9, but the range of abilities it has may not be the same as your 3rd Shugoki character. You also need to develop it and adjust its capabilities. Just like the difference in talents, these characters also have a certain difference in terms of equipment. At the end of each match you have the possibility to drop a piece of equipment to these characters. One character does not fall to another character’s equipment.

You can also access these equipment parts by using boxes. You can find new items for your characters by spending the points you have won in the game on these boxes. The quality and quality of the items falling from each box varies according to the box. You can also use these points to buy characters. You can play without buying a character, the game allows it. However, you need to buy to make and customize. They’re not very expensive, you can easily buy them.

Each character has his own abilities. Passive and active. You also gain as you level up and you choose the most necessary skill for your character. You can choose a set of equipment before each match, so you can choose the set according to the various match types. Although these skills seem a little unimportant, as you progress through the games and encounter more talented players, you understand that they are all vital.

‘’TASTE OF BLOOD’’

Let’s come to the multiplayer modes owned by For Honor. For Honor has three main multiplayer modes. Duel & Brawl, Deathmatch and Dominion. These are separated into separate branches. In the Duel & Brawl section, you can play one to one or two duel matches if you wish. The Skirmish and Elimination modes in Deathmatch also have a little difference. In Skirmish, you earn points by destroying both the fighting minions and the real enemies in the middle and get the most points-winning game. In Elimination, you encounter one-to-one with one of the opposing teams and after defeating this person, you can go to help your teammates, revive them, or go to the special support points on the map and renew your own. Finally, there is a typical ‘point-taking’ mechanics in Dominion mode. You are trying to earn the most points by holding the three points on the map. There is also an Events mode that is currently closed. We don’t know what it is now. We think what will happen with special events in the future.

In the next order, For Honor’s main menu, or in other words, the map. When you start For Honor, the game asks you a question. Which side will you be on? Samurai, knights or the Vikings? As you can imagine, you will have a really big influence on the party you choose. The game is divided into seasons and in this season the rounds are divided. At the end of the season you will receive certain rewards for your contribution. Moreover, if your party wins the round or the season, the prizes you receive will also be multiplied. One of the things that I really enjoy is that the game has the idea of creating such a community. As you win the matches, you will be able to deploy your military forces to the regions in need of support.

On the map, you have daily and weekly tasks other than this main goal. There are some quests such as; in a match, kill 20 men, win this match in this mode,  win a duel using this character, win  10 duel side quests to increase your character score. You don’t need to spend a lot of effort doing these tasks, and this prevents you from drowning in between tasks and chilling from the game. As long as you keep it open, tasks are automatically completed as you enter matches.

GRAPHICS

Let’s talk about the graphics and sounds. I need to mention scenario mode when talking about sounds. Although the voice actors are talented, there is a serious lack of attention, as if these voices were made in the last minute. If I’m going to talk about music and general atmosphere, I can say they did a good job. When you are in the battlefield, the sound of the swords’ collision and the sounds of the characters shaking the guns can really get you into that atmosphere. I can’t talk much about music because the game doesn’t give much about it. Of course, this is one of the cons. I wish it was more epic, more suitable for war, and plenty of music.

For Honor’s graphics can be one of the best aspects. As the game was shown at last year’s conferences, it appeared with really high quality visuals. Ubisoft, who is generally on the agenda with the downgrade, did not make the same mistake this time and made For Honor a great image quality. The game has a very good performance on both the console and the PC. For Honor that I’ve seen on the PC, it didn’t say it was performance-critical, despite the tremendous visual quality, and it didn’t fall below the value of 60 frames. It was very fluent. For Honor, which runs at 30 FPS on the console, there is no frame rate drop.

I can say that For Honor, if I come to my last words, it is a solid battle game that can give what we expect. If Ubisoft changes its attitude and keeps the game up to date and presents new content, For Honor will be at the top of the list for a long time. It will be sad to see this game, which is beautiful in terms of mechanics, visuals and general game structure, in the dusty pages of history like the Division. Follow my advice for now and try and buy the game.

Fallout 4

You mark a task on your map and after about two hours you find yourself in a different place to escape from mutant bears. This is the power of Bethesda, friends. Open world game is such a thing. What I have to say is that, in recent years, Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher 3 have been released to each other through basically similar open world models. I enjoyed playing the two games incredibly, but the open world that these games offered because of the scenario was relatively restricted. The question mark hunting on the map felt like an open world, but it did not fully meet the meaning.

Here Fallout 4 is a clear, pure, immaculate open world. If you have the excitement of discovering a little inside you, Boston is the perfect match for you. Looks like abandoned settlements (until the Raiders arrive), decaying factories, supermarkets … Once you’ve strolled across the hillside and strolling around Boston, you’ll notice something very important within a few hours: Fallout 4 is just a quest overwritten. Always looking. Every step you take in the ruins of the old world combines you with the past and the future.

The game also presents a scenario that supports this quest. With Fallout 4 we start the game before the nuclear disaster for the first time. Well, this is not a spoiler / surprise, because Bethesda has shown them to us many times. The character-building part of the game takes place in the pre-disaster world and gives you the most entertaining character-creation sequence we’ve seen in recent years.

The character creation section is definitely the best I’ve ever seen. It has gained a lot of appreciation both for its free structure and for offering it to you in a great way. First of all, it is moving very organically. Even though character modeling still seems to be a bit of a fall, Fallout 4 is not a result of every Bethesda game, but a winning company.

Classic Super Mario Game

Super Mario[a] is a series of platform games created by Nintendo, and featuring their mascot, Mario. Alternatively called the Super Mario Bros.[b] series or simply the Mario[c] series, it is the central series of the greater Mario franchise. At least one Super Mario game has been released for every major Nintendo video game console.

The Super Mario games follow Mario’s adventures, typically in the fictional Mushroom Kingdom with Mario as the player character. He is often joined by his brother, Luigi, and occasionally by other members of the Mario cast. As in platform video games, the player runs and jumps across platforms and atop enemies in themed levels. The games have simple plots, typically with Mario rescuing the kidnapped Princess Peach from the primary antagonist, Bowser. The first title in the series, Super Mario Bros., released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985, established gameplay concepts and elements prevalent in nearly every Super Mario game released since. These include a multitude of power-ups and items that give Mario special powers such as fireball-throwing and size-changing into both giant and miniature sizes.

The Super Mario series is part of the greater Mario franchise. This includes other video game genres as well as media such as film, television, printed media and merchandise. Over 310 million copies of games in the Super Mario series have been sold worldwide, as of September 2015, making it the best-selling video game series in History.
